KusKa ( Luke McCusker )
Deep House DJ & Producer hailing from the Midlands, United Kingdom.
KusKa's underground and bass driven deep house sets have caused a stir at literally hundreds of dance floors throughout his thirteen year DJ career; his sound is distinctive, unique and instantly recognizable. ‘You are what you eat’ as the expression goes and KusKa certainly wears his House garage and Rave diet on his sleeve, and it shows in his sets and his productions. In the last year he has secured residencies with global brands ( Funk Delux & Hoochy Koochy) and is also part of the Koncept group who currently host events up and down the country. Featuring on several radio shows including bi weekly slots on Birminghams infamous Silk City FM, he is also now taking bookings internationally, playing sets for the last four years over in Ibiza at VClub, Sankeys, Hush, Kanya and the infamous Ibizan Heat Boat Parties, bookings were already in place for the 2014 season when KusKa returned in June and made his debut at the mighty Together at Amnesia in Ibiza, alongside Rudimental, Gorgon City, Chase & Status and loads more talent. His first release 'BE THERE' signed on Footmusic literally took off with support all across the scene. His second release, 'BELIEVE' available now on Domino Effect Records is a huge, bass driven behemoth and has become a staple dancefloor filler pulling in almost 12,000 plays. His Swi:tha:t EP set to land late 2014 (Mjuzieek/Conkrete Digital) has seen huge support across Ibiza as has Burn Inside and Circadian (MLP Music) each release following the same, huge, bass driven KusKa sound. His most recent release 'Amour Propre' has racked up a serious playlist with over 10,000 plays available now on 5howtime. With interest from several big labels regarding his forthcoming releases, his busy schedule (not just here in the UK but internationally) will firmly cement his name into the house scene.
